Your product page has one job. Score how well it does it.

Your product page has one job. Score it on ten checks — title clarity, question-answering images, honest pricing, reviews, delivery visibility, single CTA, scannable specs, comparison, truthful urgency, real speed — and get the fixes in the order that matters.

How it works

Score on your phone, on your actual PDP, as a buyer sees it — not the staging site on a laptop.

Failures become revision actions in sequence; the first failure often gates the rest (speed and CTA before copy polish).

Re-score after each round of fixes. The score is a conversation tool between marketing, design and dev.

Worked example

A home appliance PDP scores 5/10: fake countdown timer, delivery date below the fold, specs as prose. Removing the fake urgency, pinning 'Delivery by Tuesday · 7-day returns' beside the buy button and bulleting the specs lifts add-to-cart 18% in three weeks.

Illustrative figures, not a client outcome.

Questions, answered

Which check moves the needle most?

Reviews and delivery visibility, in most categories — they answer the two silent questions ('is it good?', 'when do I get it?') buyers won't scroll for.

How often should we re-score?

Monthly for the top five PDPs, and after any template change. Scorecards drift as 'quick fixes' accumulate.
