How it works

Build the dealer × SKU matrix from your secondary sales data. Unticked cells are gaps.

Each gap is sized: the SKU's average per-dealer monthly sale, scaled by the dealer's volume versus the average dealer.

Output: total monthly opportunity, priority dealers (biggest missing value), and the top five place-this-SKU-here actions.

Worked example

Three dealers, four SKUs. Dealer C stocks only the core SKU — the matrix shows ₹55,000/month of missing assortment at that single counter. The sales officer's next beat visit has an agenda, not a hope.

Illustrative figures, not a client outcome.

Questions, answered

Where does the matrix data come from?

Your secondary sales reports. If you don't get secondary by dealer and SKU, that is the first problem to fix — the scorecard tool's data gate exists for exactly this.

Should every dealer stock every SKU?

No — slow SKUs in weak outlets create expiry and complaints. The tool quantifies gaps; judgment decides which deserve filling.
