Upload orders; see which month of customers actually came back. The cohort heatmap shows repeat rates M+0 to M+5, median days to second order — the two numbers that decide whether you have a retention engine or an acquisition treadmill.

Needs one column identifying the customer (email/phone/ID) and one order-date column. Nothing leaves your browser — parsing is local.

Your numbers stay in your browser until you choose to download or share.

How it works

CSV upload stays in your browser — parsing is local, nothing is sent anywhere. Map your customer column (email/phone/ID) and order-date column; a demo file is included.

Cohorts group customers by first-purchase month; each cell shows what % returned in that later month.

M+1 is the number that matters: under ~20% next-month return usually signals a product-experience issue that marketing cannot fix.

Worked example

The demo data shows January's cohort at 50% M+1 but March's weakening. A brand seeing this pattern checks what changed — a new pack size that month had a dosing complaint. Cohorts catch what monthly revenue averages hide.

Illustrative figures, not a client outcome.

Questions, answered

My CSV has one row per order line, not per order. Is that OK?

Yes — the tool works on customer + date, so line items simply count as activity on that date.

What if customers check out as guests?

Then identity is your first fix (phone/email capture), because cohort analysis needs a stable customer key. Partial data still runs — treat the rates as lower bounds.
